Exploring Monday.com - Initial Impressions 🔍
Been testing out Monday.com this week as part of my ongoing PM tools evaluation for clients, and I have to say - the interface is genuinely intuitive.
What caught my attention:
- Got a working board set up in under 10 minutes (rare for enterprise tools)
- Automations are surprisingly powerful without needing code
- The visual workflow flexibility beats traditional PM tools I’ve used
- AI features are interesting, though still evaluating practical value
Coming from years of MS Project and Jira, the learning curve is refreshingly minimal. My test board for tracking consulting engagements is already proving more collaborative than my previous Excel setup.
Still early days, but I can see why cross-functional teams gravitate toward this platform. The “Work OS” positioning makes sense when you see how it bridges PM, CRM, and operations in one space.
Planning to dive deeper into the integration capabilities and resource management features next week.
